Business Situation

• The client is a global leader in retail consumer food products, spanning five core sectors: snacks, beverages, cheese, grocery and convenient meals.

Key Issues

• The client had recently completed a centralization of its US private fleet dispatch operations. An organizational disconnect existed between the driver management functions, field operations functions and central dispatch.
• The central private fleet operation did not participate in full planning and organization with the corporate transportation function.

Outcomes

• The Revere Group facilitated a workshop, which mapped out the existing organizational structure and identified the characteristics for a preferred future state. 
• The Revere Group used the results of the workshop to develop a central organizational design, complete with role descriptions and accountabilities.
