Business Situation
The client is a large Integrated Health Delivery System that has 26,000 employees, 13 hospitals, and hundreds of other sites.
The client requested assistance with the selection of new General Ledger (GL) and Human Resource (HR) systems to replace its outdated legacy systems.
The Revere Group had been retained to evaluate requirements, facilitate system vendor interviews, and provide guidance for the best system replacement choices.
Key Issues
The client’s heavily modified systems could not keep pace with their significant growth and subsequent system requirement changes.
As a result, significant manual and ad hoc processes have been implemented as “workarounds,” including Excel-based spreadsheets and internally designed web-based solutions.
