Denver, CO – October 5, 2008 – Today the CSCMP National Conference opened at the Colorado Convention Center, Denver Colorado. A session welcoming newcomers to the Council and orienting them on Council’s benefits was initiated. Resource Volunteers (CSCMP Members) will be available to answer questions and connect them with their colleagues in their local area or even outside their geographic area. Richard Murphy, CSCMP President will be present to welcome newcomers and John Caltagirone, CSCMP 2008 Annual Conference Chair will give their opening remarks “I am honored to be part of the CSCMP organization and have the ability to be part of the opening ceremonies to educate and welcome new members,” Caltagirone stated. Greg Chalkley, CSCMP Roundtable Chari will also be in attendance and will provide an overview of membership benefits.
